Performing Arts in New Hope:
The Performing Arts is more prominent in this village than in many cities, five, even 10 times its size. One of the most popular performing arts venues is the Bucks County Playhouse, which is a national landmark for Broadway plays and is rich in theatrical history.
“Springtime for Henry” with Edward Everett Horton opened the Playhouse season in 1939 and the celebrities that followed are a who’s who of the theater. Annual Holiday Kickoff and Tree Lighting

5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Located in front of the Logan Inn at Main and Ferry streets
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at 6:00 PM to light the tree. There will be singing with the Bucks County Chorus – along with gifts and hot chocolate! Also, the Salvation Army and Toys for tots will once again be on hand. Please bring an unwrapped gift and you “loose change” to help others celebrate the holidays! This year there will be a light show accompanying the tree lighting.
Holiday Tree Light Show
November 29, 2010 – December 31, 2010
Every night from November 29th to December 31st there will be a “light show” at the tree by the Logan Inn.
Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Friday & Saturday, 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM & 10:00PM show
